Wordless Wednesday - Sign Up To Be A Donor

My Wordless Wednesday is a little different this week.

Warrior has wanted to make a video about his dad for several months now, but he's never had the courage.  Until now.

He tried making this as a video but broke down half way through it, so he decided to do it as a series of pictures instead.

There's no sound.  No music.  Just his message.

I'm so proud of him!

  1. Such a sweet request, and it's so brave of him to share his message. I am already a big advocate for organ donation and am already a registered donor! <3

  2. Kind thoughts to your family and your son on his birthday! I'm also a registered donor. Would it be possible for you to type out the messages on the cards to accompany the video? They are really hard to read :)

  6. Wonderful story. My children and I shared it together and we loved it. Keep sharing. You should also share it with the donor site in your state. They may use it!

  14. Please tell your beautiful son that his courage made a difference in my life and I know it will touch so many others. I have always been signed up as a donor, since I was old enough to be really, and will be sure that it stays that way. Thank you both for this beautiful post and for sharing your story.

  16. I totally agree we need more organ donors. I think people who aren't organ donors are selfish. You are not going to need organs when you are gone anyway. People are waiting on organs right now all over the country. All you need to do is check a box on your driver's license. It's not that difficult.
