Wordless Wednesday - Dad

This Sunday is my kids' second Father's Day without their dad. This year seems to be harder than last year because the numbness has worn off.

This is the last picture taken with their dad.  Taken 10 days after his heart transplant, and about 10 minutes after they extubated him.  We got special permission for Sugar Pea to go in and see her daddy.

Blowing kisses to dad.  I love these 2 pictures, but they break my heart too.

From 2012's Donate Life walking holding a picture of them with Tin Man from the year before.

This is the sign they made for the Rose Parade

Easter baskets were left for the kids at the cemetery.

  8. So sad, Im sorry for your loss, we rely on our found memories of loved ones that have past to get us through. I lost my son about 4 years ago, so I can relate to your anguish! Remember the good time and dont block the sad times, let them roll over you, it helps, gather your kids and have hugs and share memories, let them see your feelings of loss too, it helps them to know you all have moments of sadness, but in the same thoughts share a good memory.
I love the photo moments you have shared!!
    Be blessed!!
