Balloon Release

The last couple of weeks have been rough.

Last week marked 1 year since Tin Man passed away.  Everyone told me that the anxiety of the day coming up was actually worse than the day itself would be.  Not so.  That day was pretty hard for all of us.  There was lots of crying and yelling.

We also released some balloons.  At the shop where he worked with friends and his boss.  Also with the kids' best friends out at the beach.

It really helped the kids, and me too, to see so many people joining us to remember him.

At the shop they decided they wanted to release the balloons out of their dad's office window.
